Governer Palin ( McCain's homerun)

My ZimbioTop Stories Add to Technorati Favorites
On Friday 8\29\08 Senator John McCain announced that his choice for vice president would be Alaskan Governer Sarah Palin. Would I heard this I was excited be cause in my opinion this selection hits the election out of the park. Not only does her pick bring the female vote, but it also brings ethics. I believe that this ticket will not only win the White House for McCain, but I also believe that he will win a double digit victory. It is my belief that Governer Palin's pick would be a boon not to McCain but to the People and here's why. The Democrats are trying their beat to discredit her and they will fail because while they are happy to have their 10% approval rating Governer Palin has 80%. Which means that the People are more likely totrust her than they do the Congress. Secondly, her victory would also be a warning, that's right, a warning to the Congress that, as Barak Obama said in his acceptance speech, "Enough is enough." We the People will no longer tolerate the disrespect we get from Washington. We will not allow any more dishonorable or unethical behavior from our elected officials. I think that this warning is overdue and needed because We the People have been injured, lied to, and disrespected for far too long. The American People have had enough, not of Bush, but of Obama and the Washington establishment. We the People are sick of being called the great unwashed, too stupid to govern ourselves, or being called radicals. I so sorry that elitists like Obama, Reid, Kennedy, and Pelosi are hurt we tell we want our borders secure. well guess what Pelosi, guess what Obama, and guess what Kennedy? You don't own this country, you don't own this Government WE the People do. This is our country, our government and we will no longer tolerate your criminal, Socialist or elitist behavior anymore. We the people have had enough of your dishonor and disrespect. So if you democrats don't mind WE the People are taking our country and our government back. Finally a message to both McCain and Palin. When the Democrats try to attack, and they will attack, your " inexperience" you might want to respond this way. You Palin look at the camera holding your hands out like scales and say: " the Democratic Congress a 10% approval rating, Me 80%, I wonder who the People will trust more?" That would be the perfect responce to a Democratic attack on her experience.

Your 80 vs 10% argument is ludicrous, considering the ratings come from different groups of people. Those rating Palin are the same Alaskans who voted her into office not two years ago while the ratings for the congress are just that, the congress. This rates the congress as a whole, not Obama. Not to mention those people rating the congress did not vote for Obama, Illinois did.

While that is true, the argument I was getting at (and probably should've articulated better) was that her pick, in my opinion, signals, or hopefully signals, the end of the corruption and unethical behavior that has been the norm in Washington, or at least curtails it. Because in my view the American people are tired of corrupt politicians serving themselves and not the voters. So, I think that she would be trusted, more than Congress is, to do the right thing in Washington.
