http://www.oxis.comIn this second and final part I discuss how ideas from Tuskegee and George Washington Carver will in my opinion eliminate world hunger. One of the ideas George Washington Carver came up with at Tuskegee was the idea of rotating crops. The reason behind this was that by rotating crops you rejuvenate the nutrient in the soil. there by allowing more food to be grown. I see this as a resolution of ( what is in my opinion) one of the reasons for the famines in Africa and elsewhere in the developing world. The other idea Carver came up with is plowing and harvesting in circles and not straight lines. By doing this you reduce the loss of soil and nutrients. In closing the biggest problem to implementing these ideas is that there will be those farmers who will be resistant to these ideas. In the end, those who use these ideas will have better long term farming than those are farming the way their ancestors did. Only by implementing the ideas mentioned here and in part 1, will we be able to eliminate famines and curtail world hunger.
